Do you accept insurance?

We accept Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare/Optum, and Health Net/MHN.

What if my insurance is out of network?

We provide superbills you can submit for reimbursement.

How much do psychiatric evaluation and medication management cost?

For clients choosing private-pay psychiatric services:

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation — $250
A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation that includes assessment of symptoms, psychiatric and relevant medical history, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and medication options when appropriate.

Medication Management Follow-Up — $150
Ongoing psychiatric follow-up to assess symptoms, medication effectiveness, side effects, treatment progress, and medication adjustments when clinically appropriate.

Daybreak Counseling Center accepts select insurance plans for psychiatric services. Coverage and out-of-pocket costs vary. Our team can help verify your benefits before your first appointment.

Scheduling & First Session

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can call either office or submit an online request form.

What happens in my first session?

Your therapist creates a confidential, calm environment, asks about your concerns, history, and goals, explains how therapy works, and begins shaping a plan. You can share at your own pace. The purpose is to reduce uncertainty, establish comfort, and set direction.

Can I choose my therapist?

Yes. You may select any therapist, and we can help you switch if the fit isn’t right.

How often are sessions scheduled?

Most clients meet weekly, though frequency varies based on goals and clinical needs.
