Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (L.M.F.T.) | Clinical Director

Ashley Boren is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Director at Daybreak Counseling Center, offering virtual and in-person therapy in Long Beach. She specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, and couples therapy and works with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and the LGBTQ+ community.

Areas I Can Help With

Ashley supports individuals, couples, families, and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other mental health challenges. She also works with members of the LGBTQ+ community and tailors her support to each client’s unique experiences, needs, and goals.

My Approach to Therapy

Ashley takes a post-modern, psychoanalytic, and person-centered approach, focusing on each client’s unique story and creating a safe, supportive environment for growth. She recognizes that therapy is not one-size-fits-all and works to meet clients where they are. In couples therapy, she incorporates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen communication and connection. Ashley helps clients find their voice, build resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
