Available for In Person & Virtual Sessions

Welcome! I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University Fullerton. After earning my Bachelor’s degree, I began my career in social work and dedicated the past 20+ years assisting vulnerable families and individuals. Through these experiences, I've learned the importance of building strong relationships through active listening,
showing empathy, and accepting people as they are. I utilize a strengths-based approach in my work, and I’ve learned how to effectively resolve conflicts and approach problem-solving with creativity. In our therapy sessions, you will have a safe space where you can freely express, deeply reflect, and authentically discover yourself without fear of judgment or shame. In this space, we'll work together to set goals and find solutions. I also believe that challenges, in the
appropriate context, can foster growth and lead to truly meaningful outcomes.

As a therapist, I tailor my approach to each client's unique needs, because therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. Although I primarily favor a psychodynamic approach to uncover underlying issues and provide insight, insight alone doesn’t drive change. This is why I incorporate a variety of modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, internal family systems, client-centered therapy, and humanistic-existential therapy to facilitate meaningful transformation. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and couples, addressing issues such as trauma, cultural challenges, individuation, anxiety, OCD, addiction, depression, anger, sex and intimacy, relationship problems, and many more.

Therapy is an incredibly courageous act, requiring us to confront the parts of ourselves we may not like. It is also an act of self-love, demonstrating a commitment to your own happiness and well-being, and by extension, to the relationships around you. I believe that self-awareness and reflection are among the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and to those you care about. With a deep commitment to my own personal growth and journey towards self-actualization, I am equally dedicated to supporting you on your path to healing. To inquire about setting up an appointment with me please call our office at 562-566-4257.
