Hello, I’m a dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, from Bowling Green State University. My interest in psychology began early, observing those around me and feeling a deep empathy for people in emotional distress. Through my own struggles as a young adult, I found a path to clinical psychology, driven by a passion to help others understand how their experiences shape their mental health and relationships. Additionally, I developed a passion for spiritual and psychological integration while completing a one-year ministry program in 2015. Following a significant personal transformation, I'm now able to guide individuals in deepening their understanding of themselves within the context of relationships.

In therapy, I combine education, wisdom, and personal experience, prioritizing the therapeutic relationship as pivotal for change. From a client-centered approach, I create a safe space for you to feel heard and validated. I'm passionate about guiding individuals, youth, couples, and families through relationship and mental health difficulties, helping them rediscover hope and inner peace. My Persian-American background enriches my ability to connect with diverse clients. I was born overseas but raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where I experienced bullying in grade school. This challenge allowed me to connect with my emotions at a very young age, enabling me to feel a profound compassion for the marginalized, underrepresented, and overlooked.

My therapeutic approach combines psychodynamic and humanistic principles, using an attachment-based approach to uncover the root causes of your challenges and achieve a healing/ growth transformation customized to your needs. I have experience addressing a wide range of issues including but not confined to, life transitions, relationships, general/social anxiety, panic, depression, trauma, grief & loss, emotional, narcissistic, and sexual abuse, LGBTQ+ issues, and insomnia. I'm certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy(Level-1) and trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, assisting couples resolve conflicts, restore trust, and deepen their intimacy.

My goal is to assist you in overcoming barriers that could hinder your full potential, so you can thrive rather than merely survive through life. I view therapy as a collaborative process and it would be an honor for me to accompany you on your journey toward healing and wholeness. To inquire about setting up an appointment with me please call our office at 562-566-4257.
